Just like you and me, Stickybox World was conceived in a bedroom. Just like you and me, Stickybox starts small and begin to grow. Stickybox World is a one of a kind clothing line that came all the way from Johor Bahru. It began in underground industry and started its operation in 2007. Formerly known as “Kotak Melekit Clothing”, the name Stickybox (Kotak Melekit) was inspired from the concept of to “stick” with one concept which is simple while “Box” refers to the idea of thinking out of the box. Stickybox consists of a few teenagers who have the same interest in the basic foundation of art and design.
As mentioned, Stickybox focuses on the concept of ‘Easy and Minimalis’ which makes it suitable and easily adaptable to all. With high quality of printing and simple yet legit designs, Stickybox easily attracts people especially youth to buy their products. Stickybox seems to have its own followers and fans for its concept of simplicity when more than 5000 pieces of shirts designed and produced were sold since the establishment of this potential art organization.
Apart from clothing, Stickybox also offers the service of designing, printing and producing merchandises such as lanyard, keychain, stickers, button badge etc. Seeing it as an opportunity to reach a higher level, Stickybox had done few collaboration projects with events and other organisations such as Twitterjaya, Dance Punk Party, Sindiket Soljah, MyBlackberryAsia, Mona Lyssa Band, RBTH Cloth, DZKL, Double-R Club, SMSJ, STF and many more throughout its involvement in this industry.
